Ways of Giving
Your donation helps eliminate the devastating effects of hearing loss, not only for Canadians directly affected by hearing loss, but also for the millions of us who know, work, and live with people with hearing loss.

Or leave it undesignated, and allow us to use your gift where it is most needed. To donate through telephone banking, please contact your financial institution.

Planned Giving Many Canadians have included The Hearing Foundation of Canada (THFC) in their estate plans through planned giving. A planned gift is a donation that is made through a Will, life insurance policy or some other financial or legal instrument. It is arranged now to support THFC's future work. These gifts reflect your desire to help the more than three million Canadians with hearing loss, while maximizing your potential tax savings.
Creating a Will ensures that your wishes will be met and your support to your family, friends and organizations that are important to you will continue. Donating to THFC through your Will also results in significant tax relief because your estate will be entitled to a receipt for the full value of your donation (up to 100% of that year's income).
Leaving a bequest in your Will is easy; you can give a fixed amount or a percentage of your estate. We would be pleased to discuss your estate plans with you and/or your legal or financial advisor. The information you provide will be entirely confidential. You are also not obligated to maintain your bequest,if your circumstances or intentions change. A bequest is a revocable gift and you can modify your Will at any time.
To discuss or obtain more information about including THFC in your estate plans or another planned gift, contact us at: 416-364-4060 and ask to speak with a development officer. (Please note, we protect your privacy.)
With your help, we can improve hearing health among Canadians and foster a nation where everyone can hear and experience the sounds life has to offer.
